A clash between the American fleet and the Imperial Japanese Navy which marked a pivotal turning point in the Pacific Theater during WWII. The film, based on the real-life events, tells the story of the leaders and soldiers.

Studio Soi
While finishing my studies I got a job at Studio Soi in Germany and moved to Stuttgart. I was working as an After Effects Compositor on the first 6 Episodes from Season 5 for Cartoon Networks "The Amazing World of Gumball".

DIGIC Pictures
In Budapest, Hungary, my passion for Layout and Previsualization started. DIGIC Pictures gave me the incredible opportunity to work on franchises like Witcher, League of Legends, Call of Duty, Destiny 2, Assassin´s Creed, Lost Ark, Sekiro, Love, Death and Robots and many more. I got to work with Director David Fincher, Tim Miller, István Zorkóczy and Dan Trachtenberg in a state to the art environment and was working shoulder on shoulder with the Oscar winning DOP Róbert Maly and a multiple award winning team.

After 2 years at DIGIC Pictures I moved to Germany to work for PIXOMONDO on VFX Productions such as Midway, Carnival Row and others.

Illumination Mac Guff
In 2019 I got the chance to move to Paris for six months to work as a Senior Rough Layout Artist on Minions 2. Living and working next to the Eiffel Tower has a special flair on its own, but working on a huge franchise like Minions in a highly skilled team, where every artist is dedicated to his and her crafts, made this time an incredibly instructive experience.

PIXOMONDO
PIXOMONDO gave me the change to pause my contract for my time being at Illumination Mac Guff. After my time in Paris I moved back to Germany where I continued to work on blockbuster movies and series at Pixomondo.

DNEG
In November 2020 I moved to London to get back into the Feature Film Industry again, as it gives the artists the most creative freedom and lets me work with the Director himself. DNEG is a multi-award winning studio with studios scattered all over the world. Currently I work as a Senior Rough Layout Artist on an unannounced full feature project.

SCANLINE VFX
After DNEG, in April 2021, I got the opportunity to dive back into feature film with SCANLINE VFX in Stuttgart. Scanline employs a team of more than 1400 artists worldwirde, with studios in London, Los Angeles, Montreal, Munich, Seoul, Stuttgart and Vancouver. It was established in 1989 and recently acquired by Netflix.

Illumination Mac Guff
In 2021 I got another call from Illumination Mac Guff if I am eager to work on another feature animation project. This time it was about a little guy with a big nose and a bright, wonderful, red cap. As I am also a cap-wearing guy I immediately felt a special connection and accepted the offer - this time working in home-pants from my cozy office in Stuttgart.

SCANLINE VFX
As I enjoyed the two projects I´ve worked on at SCANLINE very much, I was happy to have a chat with my former Lead, revealing that there might be a chance for another collaboration. Luckily one thing led to another, which gave me another round at this lovely VFX behemoth, meeting old friends again and having a wonderful time with 2 credits on 2 supercool features.

Time flies! Nearly 2 years later I got another round in amazing DNEG, meeting the former team and friends again, experiencing the new tools of the already very developed and user-friendly pipeline and working on another incredible cool feature animation project.
